following the ABGA show
(somewhere between 2-5 p.m.)

This will be a jump-out show (show out of your trailer) with
no stall fees with the
exception of those exhibitors who show breeding stock
in the ABGA show and plan to exhibit in the Sunflower Showdown both days. Stalls may be purchased for
a $5 fee (per day)/2 wether per stall limit. Shavings will be avilable for purchase at the show. NO STRAW IS
ALLOWED!

WEIGHT: Wether goats must weigh a minimum of 50 pounds and can be any breed
or combination of goat breeds. No maximum weight. Goats will be weighed upon check-in with classes being formed into
three weight divisions-light, medium and heavy weight. Buckles will be awarded to the overall champion in each of those
three divisions.

BRACING: Goats can not be braced and must be shown with all four feet on the ground.
Animals must be shown with a chain or collar used only to control the animal. Exhibitor can only briefly touch their animal
with their body and can not use the chain/collar to make their animal tense their muscles. Superintendent has the right to
disqualify violators.

TEETH: All wethers must have baby teeth in place with no visible signs of permanent
teeth. The decision of the mouthier is final.

SHEARING: All wethers must be “slick shorn” with an equal amount of
hair above the knee and hock (head and belly excluded) prior to check-in time. A maximum of 3/8” hair length is permitted.
Goats must be sheared prior to arrival. Light clipping is allowed at the show.

HORNS: Wethers are suggested to be dehorned. However, if horns are left they should
be tipped and rounded.

FITTING: Artificial coloring, paint or powder will not be permitted for use on
wethers during the entire show.

WETHERS: Only wethers are allowed to show in the market show. Any animal exhibiting
cryptorchid characteristics (testicle and or castration scar tissue) will be disqualified.

Physical abuse of any animal will not be tolerated and will be grounds for disqualification.
Show superintendent has the right to interpret this rule.

This is a non-terminal wether show.

AGE: ALL youth that are 18 years of age or younger on the day of
the show (July 5, 2008) are eligible to compete in this division.
